Paying toll road fees
When using toll roads (expressways and motorways), please insert your ETC card into the on-board unit and pay the toll. If you use a toll road without paying the toll, you will be required to pay the toll to the expressway operator at a later date. If an expressway operator asks you to confirm that you have not paid the toll, we will provide you with your customer information.
Seat belts are mandatory in all seats
Fastening seat belts is mandatory for all seats, including rear seats. If you have small children and have difficulty fastening a seat belt, please use a child car seat or junior car seat. For more information, please contact your local store.

Illegal parking
- 01 Before returning the rental car, please go to the police station indicated on the sign and complete the required procedures and pay the fine.
- 02 Please present the “traffic violation notice” and “payment slip or receipt with receipt stamp” when returning the vehicle.If you are unable to present these, you will be asked to fill out an acknowledgment of the illegal parking violation and the following amount will be withheld: 25,000 yen for standard cars, 30,000 yen for other cars
- 03 If you pay the fine at a later date and present the “traffic violation notice” and “payment slip or receipt with receipt stamp,” we will refund the amount we received.
Please note that if you do not follow the required procedures and pay the fine, your case will be reported to the police, the Public Safety Commission, and the Rental Car Association, and you may be refused future rental cars from affiliated companies of the Rental Car Association.
